CHALLENGE
Boquet, a feminine hygiene company founded by pharmacist Esther Nhain Lee, entered a market where vaginal health is often stigmatized or treated as an afterthought in women's self-care routines. The brand needed a voice that could destigmatize intimate wellness while maintaining credibility and sophistication. As copywriter and brand strategist, I was tasked with developing the narrative architecture that would position Boquet as both medically sound and emotionally resonant—creating messaging that felt accessible and empowering rather than clinical or embarrassed.

I began with extensive founder interviews, spending hours with Esther to understand both the science behind vaginal health and her personal mission. From these conversations, I extracted what made Boquet different: a commitment to transparency, a pharmacist's precision, and a belief that feminine care deserved thoughtful attention. This became the foundation for the brand's narrative architecture — the overarching story framework guiding all messaging.
I built a comprehensive messaging system including website content structure, product copy, brand taglines, and verbal identity for social media. The copy balanced education with aspiration, speaking directly and confidently about vaginal health rather than euphemizing it. This verbal identity worked in tandem with visual design and art direction to create a holistic brand experience that felt premium, trustworthy, and refreshingly honest.
