Narrative architecture and messaging that launched Boquet as a brand redefining feminine care.
Boquet, a feminine hygiene company founded by pharmacist Esther Nhain Lee, entered a market where vaginal health is often stigmatized or treated as an afterthought in women's self-care routines. The brand was introducing a novel product—already available in the UK but new to the US market—at a moment when intimate wellness desperately needed a voice that could balance medical credibility with emotional resonance.
As Narrative Strategist and Copywriter in partnership with Feels Studio, I led the development of Boquet's complete verbal identity. This meant spending hours in founder interviews with Esther to understand both the science behind vaginal health and her personal mission, then translating that into a messaging framework that could destigmatize intimate wellness while maintaining pharmaceutical precision. The challenge was significant: creating language that spoke directly and confidently about vaginal health rather than euphemizing it, building a narrative architecture that worked across website, packaging, and social media, and establishing a brand voice that felt premium, trustworthy, and refreshingly honest.
Through foundational research, strategic copywriting, and collaborative development with Feels Studio's visual identity team, I built "For Your Flora"—a messaging system that positioned Boquet as both medically sound and emotionally resonant, making feminine care feel accessible and empowering rather than clinical or embarrassed.
